  1. Total Knee Replacement: In this procedure the whole damaged knee joint is replaced with an artificial joint, which is attached to the thigh bone shin and knee cap.
  1. Partial Knee Replacement: It is done only if one part or inner side of the knee is affected by arthritis. The inner medial part, or the outside lateral part, or the kneecap or some part of the knee is replaced in this surgery.
